Aspettando Sarah...

La preproduzione di "The ringer" è già iniziata, il nuovo show della CBS con protagonista Sarah Michelle Gellar. Un thriller che parla di redenzione e vendetta, di due sorelle gemelle interpretate entrambe dalla Gellar. Le due sorelle sono state separate da un tragico evento del passato. Una di loro è in cerca di redenzione mentre l'altra di vendetta.

Bridget è colei che è in cerca di redenzione, e ha anche avuto una vita travagliata. Quando la gemella di lei, Siobhan, muore in un incidente in barca, Bridget si impossessa della sua vita, ma poi scoprirà che anche sulla testa della sorella pende una taglia.

The Ringer” nasce dagli ideatori di “Supernatural” Eric Charmelo e Nicole Snyder. La Gellar sarà anche co-produttrice esecutiva del progetto, che è prodotto dagli ABC Television Studios e dai CBS Television Studios.

Il produttore del programma, Traugott rassicura il pubblico dicendo che "“Ogni cosa che [la Gellar] fa in TV crea entusiasmo nei fan che sono cresciuti amando Buffy. E pensiamo che anche questo show abbia le carte in regola per farlo [per entusiasmare]”
